Little Bigelow Mountain

The next Maine Appalachian Trail Land Trust winter hike will be on Sunday, January 27th at 9:30am.  The destination will be Piazza Rock (a big rock) and Eddy Pond (a nice pond, shown above) on the A.T. going up Saddleback Mountain.  The distance to Piazza Rock is 1.8 miles, and Eddy Pond is about 1.9 mile beyond that.  Altogether, there and back, the distance is 7.4 miles.  This is a strenuous hike that has ups and downs but we will not be…

Flagstaff MH&T Hut Snowshoe
